"Ni Night A!"

We had a fun time staying up late while mom & dad went out with grama & granpa. (Maybe just kidding about the staying up part). Laurie Berkner band of course is a favorite before bed. Kiss & Cookie brushed my hair and put some bows in it too. Future hairstylists? They always keep me guessing!

"Pretend you're sleeping!"
Uh-Oh. I think some kiddos are getting tired...

Sweet Dreams!

Lions, Tigers, & Bears..Oh My!

What could be better on a beautiful Friday than a trip to the Waco Zoo? Mom, Dad, Kiss, Cookie, & Miss A had a blast! I must say, Kiss & Cookie are great car riders. They barley even make a sound. The first exibit we looked at were the Lemurs. Kiss did not want to leave them. I think she liked the tigers most of all. Cookie loved the komodo dragon & the big tortoises.
Foot chimes are awesome!

"What are YOU lookin' at?"

This slide was probably the highlight of their day.

We will definielty be making another trip to the zoo again. Lots of fun for everyone! Of course, Kiss & Cookie were worn out after a long day & probably dreamt of all their new animal friends on the way home.

"Earth Laughs In Flowers"--Emerson

We had a great day today. I took the kiddos to the park right next to my house and we had the whole place to ourselves. Soo VIP. Kiss loves chasing after birds and picking flowers, while Cookie enjoys playing in the rocks and sliding.
After the park, we had lunch with mom @ La Bodega. Cookie had a traumatic experience with the salsa when he figured out the hard way that it was very spicy! Poor little guy. After a long morning, they took a nice long nap (Cookie did not want to wake up!). Mom made some yummy dinner tonight as usual. She does not give herself enough credit for her great cooking. Cooper was glad to spend a couple days with everyone too! He is completley worn out & sleeping on the couch probably dreaming about running around the backyard with Braut. Kiss & Cookie like to chase him around the house & Kiss has fun saying, "Sit Coopie!"

Tomorrow is going to be a ZOO DAY! I know these munchkins are going to have a blast!

The Teriffic Two's!

It's that time of year again when the weather is just perfect for an afternoon at the duck pond. Kiss loves feeding the ducks. Cookie loves eating the duck's food. Hmmmm...
She was saying, "Eat It!"

Just enjoying some day-old bread. Mmmmmm.

There were a few moments where I was almost certain that someone was going to fall in. Wouldn't be too pretty at the time, but it would make for a good blog, right? :)
Cookie had a blast throwing leaves, sticks, dirt...(just about anything he could get his hands on) into the water.

This week Miss A is working full time again! Woohoo! I really have missed feeding them breakfast and lunch, getting them dressed, and just hanging out in the morning/adventuring! We went to Blue Baker for lunch this afternoon (without Miss B as she is in Paris for spring break!) & of course had to check on our fish friends.

Kiss and I watched Cookie jump off the step a gazillion times. Cookie really likes having an audience.
Spring break week is of course the best week of the year for a college kid. No tests, class, homework...woohoo! Or as Kiss would say, "Horray!" I went to Houston for the weekend for a 10K race with my mom. My birthday celebration was a little belated but great just the same.
I wish I could have seen Kiss & Cookie on their SECOND BIRTHDAY! I can't believe these munchkins are already two years old! I am so excited to see what their next year brings. Mama fox has decided to not look at it as "terrible two's" but the "teriffic two's!" I like this idea. The whole family was in California for the big day and Disney Land was awesome I heard!...Makes me miss being a kid sometimes. I am waiting with anticipation for a disney blog!

1...2...3!!

Baby Gap model?

Wow. Miss A is definitley slacking on blogging. This year has been hectic to say the least, but the kiddos are just as happy and adorable as usual. February was a cold month! Kiss and Cookie saw snow in Texas that actually stuck to the ground. The looks on their faces was priceless. Kiss was so excited when I opened the curtains after nap and said, "Look...Snow!!" I have some pictures, but I guess it will be up to PB & Mama Fox to upload those! Pressure is ON! Mommy was out of town for almost two whole weeks & it is great to have her back!

This past week the weather began to warm up and we could play outside with the neighbors, go to the park, and just enjoy the sunshine out on the awesome deck! Friday has become a new tradition of happy hour with mom, dad, munchkins, & Miss B. Kiss and Cookie love running around outside, having Sprite (a rare treat), and coloring. It's good to kind of unwind from the week with everyone and catch up.
Kiss has been counting & saying her ABC's! She is so cute when she just quietly whispers, "1....2....3....4...7...9" Cookie is really into "fistbumping" and saying "Thank you!" to his sister. So cute. Miss B taught Kiss how to say, "No Way Jose!" It is the cutest thing ever because she has a little attitude when she does...she even shakes her finger at you. The Laurie Berkner Band songs are also a favorite right now: Especially "We Are The Dinosaurs" (Cookie's favorite) and "Hey Freddy!" (which Kiss sings along to). Cookie has started walking on his tippy toes too! It is the cutest thing ever! He also loves when we go out to lunch with Miss B to give the waitress his plate when he is finished. It puts the biggest smile on his face.
