What A Week!

This week has been so much fun! Monday was Beach Day at gymnastics and the last day of the spring season. The kids love Miss Summer and have improved every week here. Okay, maybe they are not doing back flips on the high beam YET, but they are on the floor all by themselves and love every minute of it! They both love the trampoline and walking across the balance beam. My favorite thing to see them do is show off their "jump" in middle of the circle with all of their friends watching. Cookie always does this crazy ninja jump and has the biggest smile on his face as everyone claps.

This looked like SO much fun. I say Kiss & Cookie get this for thier next birthday party.

Miss Summer painted our faces for Beach Day!
FYI: This IS a smile. haha.
Later on after nap, Kiss and Cookie helped Miss A make some of the ugliest looking cookies. I guess I am not much of a baker. Their fairy godmother would have greatly disapproved of this cookie disaster since she can whip up just about anything and it will be amazing. Notice no "after pictures" of the cookies...
Wednesday was a great day! Miss A & Miss B took these two munchkins on a road trip to Houston for the day. Miss B had a couple of errands to run so we decided to come along for a little adventure. We found an awesome park right when we arrived. Kiss & Cookie had a blast see-sawing with Miss A and thought it was halarious to see me sitting on it with them. Although going to the park with them is awesome, the heat of Texas on the other hand, not so much. We were all hot, hot, hot afterwards and ready for some lunch.
Next stop: Miss A's favorite place for frozen yogurt in Houston: Freshberry.
Caution: Mom & Dad...you might want to look away from this sugary mess.
I asked Kiss: "Which flavor? Vanilla, Banana, or Chocolate?"
Of course, Kiss replies: "Chocolate!"
Toppings: Fruity pebbles, M&M's, & Sprinkles
Hey, we were on vacation. Had to let her splurge a little, right?!
Cookie liked the fruit more than anything

Up to no good
She LOVED her frozen yogurt
Once again: Authentic Kiss Smile
Miss B loving on Cookie. Cookie wanting to go back to causing trouble.

So...she did finish the WHOLE cup herself.
Being silly
"Do these glasses make my face look small?"
The result of our adventure: Two very tired babies sleeping all the way home.
Aww!
Today we went to the pool & of course had a blast! Cookie is getting much more daring and loves jumping to Miss A from the side just as much as Kiss.
Overall, this week was just awesome! Kiss and Cookie always make life fun and interesting and Miss B & I. Until next time!

  1. Great adventures!

What counts in cooking is how it tastes and not how it looks! Were they good? I'd eat an ugly tasty cookie any day.

Man, I love a good nap after a sugar crash. I had one yesterday after cleaning off my spatula full of frosting.

Those babies are lucky to have two great nannies to take care of them.
